Katie's dress almost didn't make it. Ordered months in advance, it arrived on time, then stopped, held in US customs until the very last moment. It took a determined mother and a perfectly timed intervention from the Une Jolie Balade team to get it delivered directly to the wedding location, just in time.

Katie and Toray's celebration was a full weekend at Aspen Ranch, a grand Oklahoma estate where loved ones flew in from everywhere and time slowed down. The first evening was a rehearsal dinner inspired by a Victorian tea party. The second day was the wedding: morning light, a coffee truck outside, women gathered in the bridal suite, music playing softly. Katie did her own makeup. The Oklahoma wind moved through her dress all day, lifting the fabric, catching the veil, giving everything a slightly untamed, romantic feeling. She said she felt like a Victorian princess. She truly looked like one.
Nothing felt rushed. She danced with her father. Shared cake on a sofa with her husband. The evening closed on a petal-filled exit and the kind of tired happiness that only comes after a perfect day.
