This is a small look inside the way we work.
A vision before a brand
Before Une Jolie Balade was a house, it was a conviction: that a wedding dress should feel like it belongs to the woman wearing it, not to a season, a trend, or a showroom rack.
Our work is shaped by history: Medieval, Renaissance and Victorian silhouettes, the architecture of gowns made when craft was the only option. We don't recreate the past. We borrow its poetry and bring it into the present.
Made to order, by intention
Every Une Jolie Balade gown is created only after it has been chosen.
We produce nothing in advance. There is no excess stock, no unsold inventory. Each dress begins its life when a bride decides it is hers.
This is not a constraint. It is a choice. One that allows us to focus entirely on the quality and precision of each individual piece, and to treat every order as what it actually is: something that matters.
Inside the atelier
Each gown is made in our atelier by a small team of experienced seamstresses who specialize in bridal craftsmanship. Corsetry, draping, delicate sleeves, hand-finished details... every element is worked through carefully, step by step.
The atelier is not a place of volume. It is where ideas quietly take form.
On luxury and accessibility
We started Une Jolie Balade because we believe that a gown with genuine craft, romance and intention should not be out of reach for the brides who dream of it.
Our gowns are handmade to order, designed with care, and priced to reflect what they are without the weight of boutique overheads, middlemen or excess production. What you pay for is the dress itself.
We think of this as attainable luxury, not a compromise, but a different way of doing things.
Sustainability, quietly
We don't talk about sustainability loudly. But it lives naturally in the way we work: producing only what is needed, designing fewer pieces more carefully, and making gowns meant to be kept, not discarded.
A wedding dress that lasts is the most sustainable thing we know how to make.
