Katie & Toray - A Garden Fairytale at Aspen Ranch (April 2025)

Some weddings unfold quietly.
Others feel like a storybook opening, page after page, day after day.

For Katie and Toray, their celebration was exactly that: a multi-day fairytale set in nature, surrounded by friends and family who had travelled from all over to be part of something intimate, joyful, and deeply intentional.

A dress that almost didn’t make it... and then made everything

Katie had planned many things carefully. But nothing tested her patience quite like her wedding dress.

Ordered months in advance, it arrived on time… and then stopped. Held in US customs, delayed by new regulations, stuck until the very last moment. Days passed. Flights were booked. The wedding was approaching.

And then, thanks to a determined mother and a perfectly timed intervention with Sarah, our super secretary, the dress arrived just in time, delivered directly to the wedding location.

A reminder that sometimes, the most beautiful stories start with a little chaos.

A weekend designed for togetherness

With loved ones flying in from everywhere, Katie’s mother imagined the wedding not as a single day, but as a shared experience. Everyone stayed together at Aspen Ranch, a grand Oklahoma mansion where time seemed to slow down.

The first evening felt like a soft introduction: arrivals, hugs, and a rehearsal dinner inspired by a Victorian tea party.

“The most magical day of my life”

The second day was something else entirely.

Morning light, a coffee truck waiting outside the windows, a long breakfast table, even if nerves made eating impossible. In the bridal suite, women gathered, music played softly, and Katie did her own makeup.

“I was stressed… but it came out so good.”

The Oklahoma wind became part of the day, lifting fabrics, moving hair, giving everything a slightly untamed, romantic feeling. Katie later said she felt like a Victorian princess, and in that moment, she truly looked like one.

Soft moments, real joy

Nothing about the day felt rushed. Katie danced with her father. She shared her cake on a sofa with her husband. The food was Southern, comforting, generous, exactly as she wanted it.

The evening closed with a petal-filled exit, laughter, and the kind of tired happiness that only comes after a perfect day.

“It was cute. And just the perfect day.”

A modern fairytale

Katie and Toray’s wedding was not about perfection, it was about feeling.
About softness, closeness, and letting joy unfold naturally across a weekend.

A garden party.
A fairytale.
And a dress that, against all odds, arrived exactly when it was meant to.
